Sampling, home sampling and online results

The medical analysis laboratory of the Centre Médical Pasteur welcomes the clinic's patients and outpatients, with or without an appointment. On arrival, the medical secretary creates the file from the prescription and, where applicable, the insurance or health fund documents. Samples are taken by authorised professionals, with sterile single-use equipment, in compliance with hygiene and confidentiality rules. The recommended time for blood sampling is the morning, before 11 am, and most tests sampled before 10 am are issued the same day, excluding bacteriology, parasitology, mycology and molecular biology, whose turnaround times are specified at the time of sampling. For people who cannot travel, home sampling is possible by appointment made the day before with the secretariat. The laboratory operates day and night, with a night duty service, which allows it to respond to the clinic's emergencies at any hour. Results can be consulted online on the laboratory's secure portal, and can also be collected on site or sent to the doctor. Each report is validated by a biologist, who adds an interpretation comment if necessary and contacts the prescriber in case of a discordant result.
